Sunday School Ministries

Sunday School is for everyone, and it is a vital ministry at Friendly Chapel. We invite you and your family to be a part of it. We offer Sunday School classes for every age – infant through senior adult – we have excellent teachers in each class. Sunday School provides every person with an opportunity to learn God’s Word, grow in faith, and fellowship with other believers. Classes begin at 10:00 a.m. See a guest greeter for directions to the class best suited for you.

Children’s Kid FORCE (Focused On Reaching Children Early)

Our hearts’ desire is to minister to the children of Friendly Chapel by creating an environment that demonstrates Christ love for His children.  To guide them in the ways of the Lord – to plant God’s word into their hearts – to create an atmosphere where – through the power of the Holy Spirit – young hearts will say, “Yes, Lord, yes, to Your will and to Your way” – leading them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

Acts 4:12 – “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

Children’s activities include:

  • Children's Church (except for each third Sunday when children participate in corporate worship)

  • Summer Camp

  • Back to School Shopping

  • Fall Fest

  • Christmas Country Store

  • and more!

We would love to have your child join us.  Adult volunteers – see Brother Phillip Holderfield

Men’s Ministries

Friendly Chapel encourages men to participate in activities that are aimed at reaching out to other men, such as our Thursday Morning Men's Prayer Breakfast, which is held weekly at 6:15 AM.

Women’s Ministries

The women’s Ministries of Friendly Chapel provides an environment where adult women can develop their full potential – to grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, and have meaningful fellowship with each other.  An emphasis on the Word and prayer is the foundation for this ministry. Ladies L.I.F.T (Ladies in Fellowship Together) meets the last Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. for fellowship, light snacks, and Bible Study.

Music Ministries

The Word of God says that we should sing and make music to the Lord. At Friendly Chapel we believe in celebrating God’s grace and praising HIM with voices and instruments. You can join us by participating in worship or by using your talents in our music ministry.  See Nate Martin our Music Leader to become involved.

Youth Ministries

Our student ministries revolve around teenagers in 7th – 12th grades. Wednesday evenings are packed full of fun and learning in relation to God’s Word and His teachings.

Throughout the year, Friendly Chapel allows our teens to participate in 3 major events:  Saw You at the Pole, Extravaganza, and Summer Camp.  Extravaganza is a trip taken to Oklahoma City, OK to prep students for the atmosphere college brings.  During this event, teenagers are encouraged to showcase their talents and skills through many activities like: basketball, football, soccer, tennis, ping pong, singing, drama, art, quizzing, etc.

There are also rallies that our teenagers participate in like Saw You at the Pole. This rally is designed to strengthen your teenager’s Christian walk along with having a lot of fun.  The SYATP rally is at the end of August. Lastly, Summer Camps take place in July.

 World Missions Ministries

The purpose and objective for the Nazarene Mission International (NMI) at Friendly Chapel is to encourage people to pray for world evangelism, and to inform people about the world’s needs and what Friendly Chapel is doing to meet those needs. The Church of the Nazarene has missionaries worldwide and is proclaiming the gospel throughout the uttermost.

Friendly Chapel supports Nazarene missionaries through prayer and by contributions to the World Evangelism Fund. Friendly Chapel also meets the needs of our neighbors – those close at home. Friendly Chapel believes in helping OTHERS.
